"The 'principles for responsible contracts' were submitted by the Special Representative to the United Nations Human Rights Council as an addendum to the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights : Implementing the United Nations "Protect, Respect, and Remedy" Framework. The Human Rights Council endorsed the Guiding Principles in its resolution 17/4 of 16 June 2011. The 'principles for responsible contracts' should be read in conjunction with those Guiding Principles"--Page 2.
